CCSA needs coaches at all age levels

If you are interested in coaching at CCSA, please contact Paul or email registrar@clarkcountysoccer.com. The primary coach of each team will receive a discount (voucher) to be used when his/her child registers at CCSA. For the U6 primary coach, a $10 discount will be given. For U8-U19 primary coach, a $20 discount will be given.

Spring 2012 Coaches Meeting

It will be held on Sunday afternoon, March 18th (time/location tbd). The purpose of the meeting is to communicate info about the spring season to the coaches (i.e. schedules, rosters, date of uniform arrival), and answer any questions.

Coaches Training

There are a number of resources where coaches can receive training. Below, is a list of just a few of Paul's picks:

• IYSA   Education-Coaching Courses
  • Online Youth Module 1 - Geared for the U6-U8 novice coach (free, contact Paul for login/pswd)
  • Youth Module 1 & 2 - Geared for the U10-U12 coach. IYSA will hold a local class if there is enough interest. Email Paul if you are interested.
  • E Coaching License Course - IYSA will hold a local class if there is enough interest. Currently, Netsurfers is trying to organize a class. The class is free but a deposit is due and will be refunded when the course is completed. Email Paul if you are interested.
