2014 Skill Development Summer Camp

Recreational Youth Soccer Club

Register now for Clark County Soccer's Summer Soccer Camp hosted by nationally licensed Coach Mike Vejar. Coach Vejar holds a U.S. Youth Soccer National Youth Coaching License, played collegiately at Bethel College and in the U.S. Army, and is a long-time coach of local competitive and CCSA teams. Cauldon Feldhous – Currently playing at Northern Kentucky University and former record setting Goal Keeper at Jeffersonville High School. Cauldon was a 2 time Sectional Champion and Regional Champion at JHS while also earning Academic All State and Team Player awards. He is also U.S.Y.S. Youth Module I & II Certified.

Jordan Vejar – Currently playing for Bellarmine University and a former record setting midfielder at Jeffersonville High School. Jordan was a 4-time News & Tribune 1st Team Selection and 2012 Player Of The Year. He also won 3 U.S.Y.S. KY State Championships with club Javanon. He is also U.S.Y.S. Youth Module I & II Certified.

Leah Mattingly – Currently playing at Ball State University and a former State Champion at Providence High School. Leah also guided her PHS soccer team to the State Runner Up title her senior year and won 4 U.S.Y.S. KY State Championships with club Javanon. She is also U.S.Y.S. Youth Module I & II Certified.

Nick Blackwell – Currently playing at Transylvania University and a former standout at New Albany High School. Nick was a 4-time Sectional Champion and Regional Champion at NAHS and also won 3 U.S.Y.S. KY State Championships with club Javanon. He is also U.S.Y.S. Youth Module I & II Certified.

5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
$75 per camper. $50 per addl camper within same family

(4 awards per age group at the end of camp based on counselor feedback)

Camp Development Curriculum


  (receiving/trapping, passing, shooting, dribbling & heading*)

  (attacking, defending, distributing, set plays & team movement)

  (angles/positioning, technical form, game situations, team directing)

  (cardio, strength & nutrition)

  (presented by certified & experienced local referees)

  (closing night)
